Are you ready for the American version of "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo"? Two new movie trailers have been released for this tense action thriller. One is showing in theaters, and the other has been released on the Internet. These dramatic trailers give us insight into the most anticipated movie of the year, due out in December, 2011.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Release Date

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo will be released on December 21, 2011.

Many have read the Stieg Larsson novel and many have seen the Swedish version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo film. The latest movie adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara will be one of the biggest movie releases of the year.

Rooney Mara plays Lisbeth Salander – a modern day Pippi Longstocking who plays the main character in the novel trilogy. Daniel Craig plays Mikael Blomkvist in this action thriller. This tense action thriller based on crime, retribution and revenge is set for release at the end of the year. Not for the faint of heart!

I've read the whole Millenium series and couldn't put them down. The Swedish versions of the movie did an awesome job - I wonder if the American version will be as graphic in the graphic parts.
